Privacy

ScaleDraw keeps as little as it can. Your boards stay in your own browser unless you choose to share one. There are no adverts, no tracking cookies and no analytics.

Boards in your browser

A board you haven't shared, with its pictures and PDFs, is saved only in your browser's own storage on your device. We never see it. Clearing your browser's site data deletes it, so save important boards as files with Menu → Save.

Shared boards

When you share a board, a copy of it and its pictures is stored on our servers (Cloudflare, see below) so that everyone with the link can open it. Anyone with the link can view and edit it, so share links only with people you trust. While you're on a shared board, the others there see your cursor; it isn't stored. To have a shared board deleted, send us a note with the Feedback button.

Feedback

When you send feedback, or press “I'm interested” on the pricing page, we keep your message and, if you give it, your email address, so we can read it and reply. We also keep a few details that help us understand the note: your plan, your screen size, your browser and the version of ScaleDraw. We don't include your board or its link. We use your email only to reply or to tell you about what you asked about, never for anything else, and we never sell or share it.

What our servers see

ScaleDraw runs on Cloudflare. Like any website, the servers handle your IP address to send you the pages. We use the country Cloudflare works out from it to show prices in your currency, and nothing else. We don't keep logs of who visits.

Cookies

ScaleDraw doesn't use cookies. It uses your browser's storage only to keep your boards and settings, which is needed for the app to work.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it: send a note with the Feedback button and leave your email so we can reply. If you're in the UK you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
