Terms of service

These are the terms for using ScaleDraw at scaledraw.app. By using it you agree to them. They're written to be read, so they're short.

The service

ScaleDraw is a whiteboard in your browser for drawing and measuring to scale. The Free plan costs nothing. Pro is a paid subscription with more features, listed on the pricing page. We may change, add or remove features over time; if we remove a paid feature you rely on, we'll tell you and you can cancel.

Your boards

What you draw and upload stays yours. We store it only as the privacy page describes, to run the service. Boards kept only in your browser can be lost if your browser's data is cleared, so save important work with Menu → Save. Anyone with a shared board's link can see and edit it.

Measurements

ScaleDraw works out lengths and areas from the scale you set. Results are only as accurate as the drawing and the calibration, so check anything that matters (for ordering materials, building or legal use) against real measurements. ScaleDraw is a tool to help you, not professional advice.

Fair use

Don't use ScaleDraw to break the law, to upload material you don't have the right to use, to attack or overload the service, or to get round its plan limits. We may suspend accounts or remove shared boards that do.

Accounts

You sign in with Google. Keep your Google account secure: anyone signed in as you can use your ScaleDraw account. You can stop using ScaleDraw at any time, and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@scaledraw.app.

Paying for Pro

Our order process is run by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. When you buy, Paddle's buyer terms apply to the purchase.

• Pro renews automatically each month or year, at the price shown at checkout, until you cancel.
• Cancel any time from Menu → Account → Cancel subscription. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Prices include or add taxes such as VAT as shown at checkout. If we change the price, we'll tell you before your next renewal.
• Refunds: see the refund policy.

If Pro ends, your boards stay yours: anything over Free's limits stays on the board, and you can still open and save it.

Availability and liability

We work to keep ScaleDraw running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, or for more than you paid us in the 12 months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law as a consumer.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; if a change matters, we'll say so in the app or by email before it applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions: support@scaledraw.app.
